Tarangire Map & Locations

Tarangire National Park is a key part of Tanzania's Northern safari circuit, often visited with Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Most journeys begin in Arusha, easily reached by flying into Kilimanjaro International Airport, just 50km away.

Alternatively, travellers can fly into Dar es Salaam and then to Arusha. While you can fly from Arusha to Tarangire, driving is also practical; it takes about 2 hours to reach the park’s entrance. From there, it’s a straightforward drive to nearby attractions like Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
