Lake Manyara National Park is a key part of Tanzania's northern safari route. The main entry point is the town of Arusha, close to Kilimanjaro International Airport, just 31 miles away.Another option is to land at Dar es Salaam's Julius Nyerere International Airport, and then catch a flight to Arusha. You can also find direct flights from Arusha or Serengeti Park to Lake Manyara's airstrip.

If you’re driving, it’s just a 1.5-hour drive on a paved road from Arusha. From Ngorongoro Crater, it takes about 2 hours to drive the 50 miles to the park.
